You Wouldn’t Let them Say it in Your Home Without Correcting Them, Why Would You Not Correct Them for Writing it?

I want you to imagine for a moment you have a friend over to the house. All of a sudden you hear a loud noise from outside and your friend jumps up and shouts, “Oh My ***! What the (Expletive)?” I imagine you would immediately (and rightly so) correct them for the use of that language and let them know that is not appropriate anywhere and certainly will not be tolerated in your home.

Now I want you to imagine you receive a really crazy email from a friend. I mean they tell you of something that you just can’t believe happened. As you watch what they send you and then go on to read their response you come across the following, “OMG! I can’t believe it! I mean WTF? right” What do you do? Are you so amazed at what happened that you forward the email out to others. Have you blinded yourself to what you just read. Did you miss the use of language that you would not allow in your home without it being corrected and instead not only allow it in your home but you passed it on to others?

Make no mistake about it, just because you typed out an abbreviation for the words does not mean you didn’t say them. The fact that people want to say, “But I didn’t actually say it,” is not gonna be acceptable in God’s eyes and should not be acceptable in ours. What does God feel about the use of such language (whether spoken or written or abbreviated)?

Don’t let Satan fool you. Sin is sin no matter how it is said or written and must be correct and removed or it will destroy us. It only takes a little things like this to enter your home and life and before you no it, you find your whole life has been corrupted.
