Have You Looked at the Stars Recently?

“Have you ever lied down outside at night to gaze at the stars? What a beautiful sight that declares the glory of God. Stars are proof of God. It amazes me how people can see God’s awesome creation in front of them and still have the audacity to say that God isn’t real…Throughout history stars have been used as navigational tools. Stars show God’s power, wisdom, and His faithfulness. Why fear when we have an omnipotent and omniscient God?…He knows how many stars there are in the sky and if He knows that He knows whenever you’re in trouble. Rest upon the shoulders of the Lord. Praise our all powerful God creator of all things.” (biblereasons.com/stars)

Ps 8:3-5 “When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels,[a]
And You have crowned him with glory and honor.”

Ps 19:1 “19 The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork.”

Ps 136:6-9 “To Him who laid out the earth above the waters, For His mercy endures forever; To Him who made great lights, For His mercy endures forever—The sun to rule by day, For His mercy endures forever; The moon and stars to rule by night, For His mercy endures forever.”

Ps 147:4 “He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by name.”

Is 40:26-29 “26 Lift up your eyes on high, And see who has created these things, Who brings out their host by number; He calls them all by name, By the greatness of His might And the strength of His power; Not one is missing.  27 Why do you say, O Jacob, And speak, O Israel: “My way is hidden from the Lord, And my just claim is passed over by my God”?  28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. 29 He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.”

Perhaps if we all took just a little more time to look at and appreciate all God has created, we would come to a greater appreciation of Him as well.
